Join me as I capture the beautiful wedding day of Melissa & Chad—a rainy August celebration in Brigus, Newfoundland. We began at the groom's home for some special getting-ready moments, with plans to photograph immediate family here as well. I remember stepping out of my car into a downpour, prepared to work in the rain but hopeful it would ease up.
Though the rain continued, we made it work at a cozy Airbnb near Port De Grave, NL, making the most of the day’s beautiful moments despite the weather.
Next, we made our way to Melissa's mother’s home, where her family welcomed me warmly. We captured some beautiful getting-ready moments, including a heartfelt gift opening from her soon-to-be husband.
Chad and Melissa chose to have their first look at her mother’s house. The backyard was rainy and damp, but it created the perfect intimate setting for their moment together.
After capturing some family photos, we made our way to Mad Rock, NL, for some breathtaking seascape shots.
The rain started to rain within minutes of returning to our cars to head to the wedding venue.
Then it was off to the Brigus Social house for a Brigus Wedding!
They tied the knot. It's time now to explore Brigus and its beauty.
Then we headed back to the Brigus Social House for food & good people!
And lastly, an ICONIC sparkler exit!
