I'm Em — a St. John's-based photographer who believes the best images come from real moments, not posed ones.
Since picking up a camera during the pandemic, what started as a way to explore Newfoundland's wild coastline became a full-time passion and business rooted in making people feel genuinely good in front of a lens.
MORE THAN JUST A PHOTOGRAPHER
I started carrying my camera on hikes through the Avalon Peninsula, chasing light, capturing fog, and falling hard for the craft.
What began as a personal project quietly evolved into a business built on one core belief: photos should feel like you.
We're not recreating the stiff, awkward portraits from your childhood.
My sessions are built around natural movement, real laughter, and the kind of unguarded moments that actually mean something when you look back twenty years from now.
I shoot weddings, couples, families, maternity, and marketing, but in every single session, my job is the same: to make you forget the camera is there.
